China-Taiwan Analysis
The China-Taiwan issue has been central to Sino-American relations, as well as Sino-Russian and other relations.

Taiwan is not only important politically as the capitalist version of China, but also strategically - it is essential to controlling trade routes to Japan. In fact, some analysts have gone so far as to say that if Mainland China controls Taiwan, it also controls Japan.

The United States has pledged naval aide in a Chinese-Taiwan conflict, but President Putin of Russia has stated that a Russian fleet would block the entrance of the US Seventh Fleet in any such conflict.

This section of the China-Taiwan Topic Center is for the voicing of opinions, predictions and analysis of recent developments in the China-Taiwan issue. You are welcome to read the articles below.
