HAINAN ISLAND, China -- The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. recovery team vents the fuel tanks on the U.S. Navy EP-3 surveillance plane at Lingshui Airfield June 20. This process provides the 'gas-free certification' required prior to packaging the EP-3 wings. The recovery team is performing disassembly work on the EP-3 in preparation for its return to the United States.
