Brigades military communiqué
“Fight them,
and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you
(to victory) over them, …”
The Qassam Brigades,
the military wing of the Hamas Movement, declare responsibility for the
attack at an “Israeli” army roadblock in the industrial area in al-Khalil
that led to the killing of a number of army soldiers.
The attack is in
retaliation to that savage army’s arrogance that went on a killing spree
in lines of the unarmed and innocent people in all areas of the country in
addition to serving as a retaliation to the crimes of the herds of
settlers who recently assaulted citizens and destroyed their property in
various suburbs of al-Khalil.
The Qassam Brigades
also declare responsibility for the heroic operation carried out by our
Mujahideen against a military position near the Ibrahimi Mosque on
Thursday evening 12/12/2002 killing a soldier and a female conscript.
Declaring responsibility over that operation was intentionally delayed due
to special reasons.
And it is a

Blasting an army
command vehicle in Gaza city
Our Mujahid
Palestinian people … our Arab and Muslim Ummah:
With the grace of
Allah the Qassam Brigades declare responsibility for blasting a Zionist
army command jeep at 1.20 am Friday 21st Thul Qi’da 1423H –
24/1/2003AD near the Sitar factory in the Gaza city. The command jeep
followed a convoy of enemy tanks. They passed over 70 kilograms of highly
explosive material. The Qassam Mujahideen let the convoy of invading tanks
pass then blasted the device when the command jeep was exactly over it.
The jeep was destroyed into small pieces that flew in the air, according
to our monitoring group and eyewitnesses.
The Qassam Brigades
affirm the death of all those in the command jeep after it broke into
pieces and turned into a damaged skeleton. We present this heroic
operation as a gift to our Mujahid people’s masses especially our heroic
detainees in the Zionist Nazi jails. We also affirm continuation of the
march of Jihad and resistance until liberation of the last inch of our
occupied homeland.
And
it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom

Shelling enemy
targets on our occupied lands with 16 Qassam-2 missiles
With the grace of
Allah the Qassam Brigades declare responsibility for shelling occupation
targets established on our cities and villages occupied in 1948. A group
of our heroic Mujahideen fired seven Qassam-2 missiles at the usurped
village of Beit Jirja, which occupiers called it Agdorot city. The same
group fired one missile of the same make at south of Askalan city at 8 am
Friday 21st Thul Qi’da 1423h – 24/1/2003AD. At 9 am that
same day another group of our Mujahideen shelled the city of Agdorot once
more with eight Qassam-2 missiles.
The shelling took
place only few hours after blasting a command jeep near the Sitar factory
in Gaza city during the enemy forces’ incursion into the Zaitun suburb
this morning.
The Qassam Brigades
declare that the shelling is in retaliation to the raid into the Zaitun
suburb in Gaza city and to the demolition of the martyr Masoud Ayad’s
family house.
And it is a

Blasting
a guided device at a Zionist tank
With the grace of Allah one of the Qassam Brigades’
cells managed to blast a guided device at a Zionist tank during its
advance in Salahuddin street to the east of Ezbit Beit Hanon at 12.50
afternoon Friday 21st Thul Qi’ada – 24/1/2003AD.
The Qassam Brigades affirm insistence on all forms
of resistance including explosive devices, missiles, shells, clashes,
storming settlements and martyrdom operations. All forms of resistance
would remain in use in our war against the enemy that is usurping our
lands and killing our people.

We vow to persevere along the road of resistance as
long as we live
With the grace of
Allah our resistance cells, which have been indulged in ferocious battles
since dawn today, have managed to blast the third enemy tank today at 5 pm
21st Thul Qi’da 1423H – 24/1/2003 at Salahuddin Street near
Shawa petrol station using a guided device. Another cell managed to blast
a guided device at the fourth tank in the same place at 8.55 pm. At 9 pm a
third cell fired two Qassam-2 missiles at the Doget settlement established
on our lands to the north of Beit Lahia village. Our Mujahideen are still
clashing with the enemy forces in all areas of incursion to the north of
Gaza Strip.

Announcing
anti-armor ‘Al-Battar’ missile
With
the grace of Allah the Qassam Brigades declare the firing of the first
locally made anti-armor Battar missile. The missile, made by the Qassam
Brigades, was fired at 3.30 pm Friday 21st Thul Qi’da 1423H
– 24/1/2003AD. Our Mujahideen fired the Battar missile at a Zionist tank
that was advancing in our lands at the Salahuddin Street “Muftaraq
Hammouda”. The tank was directly hit according to our monitor.
The
Qassam Brigades affirm continuation of our Jihad.
And it is a Jihad until either victory or
