Hamas statement

Our Mujahid Palestinian people

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, regretfully mourns the death of its two martyr heroes:

 Martyr / Mahmoud Farouk Al-Borno

And martyr/ Mohammed Hijazi

They were killed at the hands of the Palestinian Authority’s security apparatuses today at the Palestine roundabout in Gaza.

We denounce the incident and ask the PA to bring the killers, who are well known to the Palestinian street and who have similar past records, to account. We ask the PA to try the killers so as to avoid opening the door of internal strife in the Palestinian street. Our Movement was keen to protect the Palestinian internal front from assassinations and feudal fighting.

We also appeal to PA security elements and all honorable cadres not to direct their bullets at their brothers the Palestinians but rather keep their rifles directed at the Zionist enemy.

At the present time of escalating Zionist ferocious offensive against our people, we appeal to all rationales in lines of our Palestinian people to exert efforts to contain and end the strife to preserve Palestinian blood and to preserve the march of intifada and resistance.
