 Statement by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)

on events in the desert detention camp of Nafha

The Zionists have crossed all red lines and flagrantly infringed on honor of Muslims through searching Muslim women on visiting detainees in a humiliating manner that violated all human values and dignity other than our Islamic values. The detainees in Nafha prison were forced to defend their dignity and honor. One of them stabbed director of the prison inflicting medium and serious wounds on him according to the enemy radio. Another two Zionist policemen were wounded.

We in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, warn the Zionist enemy against violating Muslim honor and warn it of any escalatory step that might infringe on security, safety and dignity of our brave detainees in the Nafha prison and other prisons in general. We will pursue the culprits who dare assault our brave detainees and their honor.

And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
