Qassam Brigades military communiqué

The Qassam Brigades bear the glad tidings to our stationed Palestinian people namely the martyrdom of the Qassam hero: Bassam Lutfi Al-Ashqar from the village of Ein Ereik and the student hero: Mahdi Samir Abu Obeid from the city of Ramallah.

They were assassinated by Zionist treachery on Thursday afternoon 26/12/2002 in cold blood near Manara roundabout.

We in the Qassam Brigades bear the glad tidings on martyrdom of those heroes and pledge before them to persist along their path paved by their pure blood and to remain in the resistance trench until ejection of Zionists from our holy land.

And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
