The Qassam Brigades carries the glad tidings on martyrdom of its Mujahid along the path of Jihad and martyrdom:

Martyr / Ra’fat Qadri Daraghme

28 years old from Tobas

He was martyred afternoon Saturday 22^nd Jumada Thani 1423H – 31/8/2002AD after the enemy’s warplanes bombed his car with three rockets, which led to his martyrdom along with all those in his car and a number of passing by children.

The Qassam Brigades mourns one of its soldiers who was raised in the Qassam lines at the hands of commander martyr Sheikh Nasr Jarrar two years ago and denies the media reports that he was a member in the Aqsa Brigades. It also affirms that the car targeted by enemy missiles belonged to the Qassam Brigades.

The Qassam Brigades also affirms that the operation launched in Jenin the day before yesterday wounding three Zionist soldiers, according to enemy confessions and adopted by the Aqsa Martyrs, was a joint operation for the Qassam and Aqsa.

The Qassam Brigades further declares that its units had engaged the enemy soldiers this morning in Jenin after which the Mujahideen were able to capture an MG machinegun carrying the serial number 100021013 that was installed on one of the Zionist tanks and used against our unarmed people.

Our Mujahid people:

The Qassam Brigades despite assassinations, arrests and siege will remain along the road of Jihad and resistance until Allah ordains His fate.

And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
