Commenting on the savage torture being practiced against Sheikh Mohammed Jamal Al-Natshe one of the Movement’s leaders in Zionist occupation jails, a responsible source in the Hamas Movement stated the following:

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has followed up with absolute anger and dismay the savage torture inflicted on Sheikh Mohammed Jamal Al-Natshe at the hands of the criminal investigators with the aim of forcing him to deliver confessions.

Sheikh Natshe was carried to a Zionist army base in northern occupied Palestine and he has been suffering as a result of cruel investigation and unprecedented physical torture for more than sixty days with the aim of breaking his steadfastness, determination and high morale.

We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, warn mass-murderer Sharon and his government of the repercussions of their crimes and the continued torture methods applied on Sheikh Natshe and his brothers the detainees. We strongly warn them of threatening his life after several indicators reaching the Movement showed the criminal enemy’s intention to liquidate him in the torture dungeons. We affirm to the enemy leaders that such a crime would not pass unpunished and that they would pay dearly for their crimes against our people and against humanity.

We appeal to human rights organizations and all freedom-loving forces in the world to pressure the Zionist enemy’s government to stop torturing Sheikh Natshe and his brothers detained in the Zionist enemy’s Bastilles and slaughterhouses, which violate all international treaties and laws forbidding and incriminating torture of detainees.
