On the occupation authority’s arrest of Mufti of the holy land

Sheikh Ekrema Sabri

Commenting on the Zionist occupation authority’s arrest of Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, Mufti of the holy land, a responsible source in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, stated the following:

Falling in line with its constant aggressive policy aimed at subjugating the Palestinian people and breaking their will, the Zionist occupation authority arrested at an early hour this morning Tuesday Sheikh Ekrema Sabri the Mufti of the holy land in a provocative and humiliating manner. This reflected the spiteful nature of that occupation and its hostility to all values, doctrines, religions and even humanity at large.

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, expresses its strong condemnation of that incident that infringed on what the Palestinian people consider a religious leader of a very high status. Hamas also affirms that such measures would not terrorize the Palestinian people whose resistance would continue, God willing, until ejection of occupation.
