Qassam Brigades military communiqué

Our Mujahid Palestinian people … our Arab and Muslim Ummah:

Out of obedience to orders of Almighty Allah “Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you,..” and out of continuation of the Jihad and martyrdom march, the Qassam Brigades bear the glad tidings on the martyrdom of:

 Martyr Mujahid / Mohammed Mahmoud Edwan, 26

Martyr Mujahid / Abdul Karim Rateb Shabat, 19

Both martyrs are from steadfast town of Beit Hanoon. They were martyred at 11 pm Sunday 11^th Shawwal 1423H – 15/12/2002AD when they planted explosive devices to the east of Beit Hanoon town at our 1948 usurped borders to block advance of Jewish tanks and armored vehicles and to blast the device on sight of those vehicles. The enemy detected the Mujahideen and fired four tanks shells at the martyrs who clashed with the enemy with available arms before being martyred.

Our Mujahid people:

The Qassam Brigades celebrate today the anniversary of the outbreak of our Mujahid Movement the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and bear the glad tidings to the Ummah and vow to remain loyal to blood of martyrs and sacrifices of detainees, to sufferings of the wounded and to our Mujahid Palestinian people and Muslim Ummah.

We detach ourselves from those who let us down, conspired against us, stripped us of our weapons and provided security for our enemy. O Allah we vow before You to remain loyal to our religion and Ummah and not to change this position until we meet our fate.

And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
