 Military communiqué by Qassam Brigades

On details of the heroic operation in Kermi Zur

The Qassam Brigades men with the grace of Allah have come out to strike anew in a qualitative operation in which the heroic Mujahid:

Ahmed Badawi Al-Masalma

was martyred to establish with his group members the most noble forms of sacrifice and courage. He was not shackled by worldly matters such as kids, old age and wife from performing his duty towards Al-Aqsa on behalf of Muslims. Our heroic martyr was yearning for meeting the beloved ones Mohammed, peace be upon him, and his companions.

Details of the operation:

The martyrdom group (2) carried out the operation at 2.30 am Saturday 8/6/2002 after monitoring the target. The group stormed the Kermi Zur settlement established on the usurped land of Halhoul town. They surprised the cowardly guards and fired at them seriously injuring one of them as the second ran away in panic leaving behind his M-16 rifle. A Zionist and his wife got out of their home unaware and clashed with the group. The commandos killed both and took their guns: Galileo and M-16. it was later known that the man was a sergeant in the Zionist special forces and had recently concluded a military training course according to the enemy. An army jeep and an ambulance vehicle arrived to the scene and clashed with the commandos. Four of the enemy soldiers were wounded in the clash and their screams were heard allover the place and one of them later died. After half an hour the enemy dispatched two armored vehicles and two personnel carriers that encircled the two Mujahideen and clashes ensued. One of the soldiers approached the Mujahideen wearing a bullet proof costume that covered him in full. The Mujahideen fired at him but his vest protected him and he started firing at the Mujahideen seriously wounding one of them. The other Mujahid retreated with his brother to another area in the settlement. The wounded Mujahid advised his brother not to worry and to continue in resisting. “Withdraw from the area only when you are out of ammunition and Allah would cater for you, for they view us with tyrant eyes while the Light of Allah guides us. Do not care about their warplanes, machineguns or lights for Allah is with you”, the would be martyr said then smiled and prayed for his persevering wife, his children, family and Mujahideen before succumbing to his wounds. The other Mujahid waited until he was sure his brother was martyred and after he ran out of ammunition he withdrew from the settlement despite the enemy’s siege and intensive firing until he returned safely to base with Allah’s protection.

The Mujahid described his retreat, saying that angels were catering for him all the way. He recalled that he and martyr Ahmed had few dates with them to eat along the way. When he intended to eat some, the martyr swore that they would only eat inside the settlement and when they were there he ate three of them but the martyr swore only to eat them in paradise. Martyr Ahmed courageously clashed with the enemy while affirming that Sharon and his damned gang, backed by the Big Satan, would never terrorize us.

 “And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!”

And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
