Riyadh Blast Was Qaeda-Style Suicide Bomb, Source Says
Sat November 8, 2003 08:16 PM ET

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (Reuters) - The explosion that killed at least two people and wounded 65 at a Riyadh housing compound Sunday was a suicide bombing, a Saudi security source said.

The source told Reuters the attack bore all the hallmarks of Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda network, which the Saudi authorities blame for a recent spate of militant violence in the conservative Muslim kingdom.
